Will I have a project manager to turn to?

Absolutely. We assign Project Managers by specialty and geography so every customer is well cared for from inspection through final walk-through. One point of contact — never passed off mid-project.

What should I look for in a roofer?

Accepted Answer

Look for a local, certified roofing company that will still be around in five years, with proper insurance and a building license. Roof Worx holds the GAF Master Elite distinction, GAF Master for low-slope, Mulehide and Versico single-ply, Firestone Metal Roofing, and Durolast PVC certifications — which lets us offer extended manufacturer warranties.

Do you use subcontractors on residential roofing projects?

It is much more common with shingling than with other types of roofing. We have been working with our current shingling crews for nearly a decade, and every installation is checked, double-checked, and triple-checked by Roof Worx. For specialty projects like roof repairs or metal roofing, we have our in-house crews and wrapped vehicles that are easy to spot.

How did you become a GAF Master Elite roofer?

The Master Elite title is not a widely-used rubber stamp. To earn it you must be committed to serious quality, customer service, and ongoing training. Every Roof Worx employee attends annual training on how to properly install GAF systems, which GAF experts then inspect. Only about 1% of Colorado roofers make the grade.

How many dedicated crews do you have?

It depends on the time of year. At the peak of the season we run up to six shingle crews, two low-slope crews, and two in-house metal roofing crews. We scale with the demands of our Front Range customers.

Do you do roof repairs?

Yes. We have our own seasoned in-house repair team and company-wrapped vehicles for specialty projects. The team is backed by a manager with 35+ years in the roofing business and handles residential, HOA / multifamily, and commercial repairs.

Can I do a re-roof, or is a total tear-off needed?

It depends on the roof condition, whether the existing roof is unified or has multiple layers, and whether prior workmanship issues require replacement. A Roof Worx inspection will tell you which option is appropriate and code-compliant.

How can I be sure my business needs a replacement roof?

Roof Worx performs a detailed inspection and explains findings with documentation — including photos, drone footage, and moisture readings when appropriate — so you can make an informed decision rather than taking our word for it.

How long will my new commercial roofing system last?

Accepted Answer

Lifespan depends on maintenance, weather, installation quality, and material. General ranges: SPF 30–50 years, TPO 15–20 years, EPDM 20–25 years, metal 30–45 years, and built-up roofing 10–15 years.

What is the best material for my commercial roof?

It depends on slope, foot traffic, rooftop equipment, energy goals, warranty length, and budget. We install across the full commercial stack — TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, coatings, and standing seam metal — and recommend what genuinely fits the building.

Yes. We provide line-item scope, material specs, and warranty documentation that boards typically need to approve a roofing project — and we will attend a board meeting if it helps move the decision along.

Can you phase the work across multiple buildings?

Absolutely. Most multifamily projects are phased. We sequence buildings to minimize resident impact, coordinate parking, post daily schedules, and keep cleanup tight so the property stays presentable throughout.

Do you offer Property Condition Assessments?

Yes — we deliver PCAs in formats ranging from quick T&M-with-not-to-exceed assessments to full lender-ready due-diligence reports, including optional 4K drone documentation and 24/7 storm event monitoring.

What type or length of warranty coverage will I get?

Accepted Answer

Because we are GAF Master Elite, we can provide material and workmanship warranties for complete coverage of up to 30 years, backed by a manufacturer that has been in business for 100+ years. These warranty upgrades are not just paper changes — they require roofing-system upgrades to ensure a better installation.

Any discount on my insurance for Class 4 shingles?

Accepted Answer

Most insurance carriers offer up to 30% off for Class 4 hail-impact-resistant shingles. Worth asking your agent. One caution: some carriers attach cosmetic exclusions to that discount, which can make storm damage claims more difficult — so weigh both sides of the trade-off.

Do you work directly with insurance after a hail event?

Yes. We document the damage, work directly with your adjuster when authorized, attend the adjuster meeting onsite when possible, and submit supplements when additional damage is uncovered during tear-off.

Most residential replacements complete in 1–3 days, depending on size, complexity, and weather. Larger or complex roofs take longer — we will give you a realistic timeline up front.

How fast can you respond to an active leak?

Active leaks get prioritized. Call us and we will get a roofer onsite as soon as we can — often same-day or next-day depending on weather and schedule.

How soon after a storm should I get an inspection?

Accepted Answer

Sooner is better. Most insurance policies require claims to be filed within a year (some less), and damage is easier to document while it is fresh. A free inspection within a few weeks of a major storm is ideal.

How often should my roof be inspected?

Bi-annually is the sweet spot — spring and fall. After a major hail or wind event, also worth a check even if no damage is obvious from the ground.
